A Stroke of Colour is all about art. We represent established artists as well as new artists. All get equal representation. Our whole collection consists out of original art work, straight from the artist. The prices you see on the website are what the artist want for their work, we do not add commissions. Our main aim is exposure, we would like to get our artists out there. Most of our artists do commission work on request. We also offer our services for murals of all sizes. For those who want to develop their artistic flair, we have very affordable art classes. Although we have seven classes per week, we are nearly fully booked, so space is limited.
We do not, like some galleries, prefer certain mediums and have everything, oil paintings, watercolours, digital photo's, sketching, sculpturing, acrylics and pastels. Our pages are arranged by artist as well as by medium. We will soon allow you to subscribe to our site, so that we can inform you about exibitions, as we are planning to have two exibitions per year.
Better resolution pictures, quotes for frames as well as murals are available on request. If you would like to hold an exibition, feel free to contact us. If you have a have something planned and would like an artist to sit and work at the venue, we do this free of charge, as long as the artist can display some of their work around their working space.
